About

About me

I bring over 40 years of experience  in mental health and wellbeing, working with people of all ages across both the NHS and the independent sector. My professional roots are in Occupational Therapy and Play Therapy, and these foundations continue to shape the relational, creative and compassionate way I work today.

Alongside my clinical background, I am a Lecturer at the University of South Wales, where I teach and mentor developing practitioners. I also run a supervision practice for Play Therapists, offering supervision, mentorship and training. I am a British Association of Play Therapists accredited Supervisor and an approved supervisor with Play Therapy UK.

My work is also deeply informed by Systemic Family Constellations. I trained with the Centre for Systemic Constellations in London and have over 15 years of experience of using this modality in all my work. and I am a CSC approved supervisor. My training includes Systemic and Leadership Coaching which brings a systemic lens to organisational issue. The constellations approach has profoundly shaped my worldview, offering a way of seeing that brings clarity, movement and a deeper sense of belonging.

Creativity and compassion sit at the heart of everything I do. Whether in therapy, supervision or constellation work, I aim to create spaces where people can explore safely, reflect deeply and discover new perspectives that support healing and growth.

I live in a small Somerset village with my husband. Being surrounded by nature is a constant source of inspiration—its rhythms, sounds and spaciousness help me stay grounded and present in my work.

Outside of my professional life, I love gardening, walking and simply sitting in the sunshine. Maintaining a healthy balance between work and rest is important to me, and it allows me to meet clients and supervisees with clarity and steadiness.

I also have family in New Zealand, a place that continues to inspire me with its vast landscapes, mountains and volcanoes. Its sense of space and beauty reminds me of the expansiveness that can open up when we see ourselves and our systems with fresh eyes.
